Aspataki Proposes PMI Salary Increases in Singapore and Hong Kong.

Jakarta - Today (27/6), Aspataki had a meeting with the Head of BP2MI regarding the Salary Increase for Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) in Singapore and Hong Kong.

PMI salary increases in Singapore from SGD $ 550 to SGD $ 750, and for nurses in Singapore SGD $ 850 (for stay in), then for Hong Kong PMI beginners, the salary remains as according to local government standard at HKD $ 4730, and for PMI ex-Hong Kong, HKD $ 6000, and specifically for PMI ex-Taiwan and ex-Singapore capped at HKD $5500.

"As it is known from PMI's placement in Hong Kong so far, novice PMIs and ex-PMIs receive the same salary, so Aspataki sees there is injustice for PMIs who already have enough experience," said Saiful.

Aspataki's Chief sees PMI's salary increase in Hong Kong as an entry point to finalize BP2MI Head policies such as the placement of PMI in Taiwan, said Saiful.

"On the occasion of the meeting, Head of BP2MI Benny Rhamdani will soon issue a salary increase circular for both PMI to Hong Kong and PMI to Singapore," said Saiful.
